But not quite as fun as an August '01 Session at the Jetty, watchin Iceman take a monster bomb for old times sake. Remember this pic I took on that wonderful August 1st (My alternator was dead in my '85 4Runner) morning:
Didn't catch it over the weekend like you guys did up NAWTH, but down here at "Sammies", we were able to catch something pretty. Doogie, aka MOTO, and my roommate caught a fun swell. Nobody would get out of the water to take pics until the tide started getting on it. 4 hour session, and I finally got out to take a few pics. We're going back over Thursday if your work excuses will work for you! Should be peelin! I'm workin' 9-5 but will be on the boat at 5:15, rippin by 5:30.

But I DEFINATELY am down for surfing (Without the kite of course) when the Iceman forecast says to get on it! Sammies will be doing it's thing, as you know. Let me know if you make it down this way. I'd love to catch another "break your longboard in Avon double over head 3rd bar surf, jumpin off the pier" session with you!!
