Great shots of the game. In your retirement maybe you should look into getting you some of them "press credentials" and make a few bucks on those
pics. You have the camera and the skill to do it...I'm sure your tired of non-retired folks telling your retired self what to do with your retired time
though.
One of my employees was able to walk on the wolfpack team as a defensive back this fall. As a redshirt freshman you get one game to dress out for and this was his game. He wass number 13 and his name is Jack Diaz-Cobo. Ironically his Cuban family is from the Miami area. Good game for ones first dress out chance even if you know you won't play. One more week of school... |

ICE thanks for the play-by-play. We were home watching my USC Gamecocks get slaughtered by Clemson whilst slaughtering about 1 bushel of Slimey oyster
clusters. Better than having to high-tail it out of the visiting stadium as we would have if attending said slaughter. Glad you had a good high-tailing time.

- Mark Twain That Mark said, I guess then between you BT and SP two complimenting guys, I've got 4 good months more to live-it-up!  Appreciate the "Press Credential's" and "Slimy Oyster" kudos guys.
Again, just a labor of south facing beach love to all around the globe who are looking inn. 
BT: Actually (well the actually part was a suggestion by Mrs Ice), I'm toying with a long ago retired but now re-thinking idea of getting back into the entertainment restaurant show and play for a few bucks business. For there 'twas once was an early 20-something Electric Bell Accordian used to be time when I played (not strolled memory from mind-mind you...just sat inn the friggin' sheet music corner with the nice tipping jar filling up nicely kelly playing) inn various west FL coast eatery's (some seeded well, some seedy not, but it was all USF college days lugging the thing on the front of my bike even on cold front days after surfing good). This squeezbox for a few bucks and laughs and bella's times also extended overseas at various Piazza's (not the Mike kind...but the other pi-AH-tza kind) for a late '70's-early 80's spell when the America was inn port and Mickey-from-upstate-NY was around (Mickey-from-upstate-NY was always into making money some howie and anchors away, so he'd convince me to get out there and Piazza-Bell-play so "we"...he being my "agent and all"  ...could make a little bit of lira and meet a few bella's on the side). Long inn the story short, got rid of the Bell some Oswego late 80's
years ago but am thinking of buying
one to practice on to see where it takes me all restaurante' again. We'll see. Other inn the wise...staying very busy retired busy and wondering
how I had time to go to work all these years.  Hey, tell Jack Diaz-Cobo for me that I
hope he get's to play for the
other Miami one of these prodaze. Stay school focused too. You see how successful Mr. Orient has become. 
SP: I guess heads are beginning to roll due to the piling up SC losses. Well, at least the oysters must have been good to watch and eat. Although, Mrs Ice and I had that "losing" feeling too watching our 'Canes play Saturday. The John Madden rule of "3 or more turnovers and you lose" thumb came 4 interceptions true I guess. The day of digital and not film age is really cool, as I took around 150 shots. Whittled them down to the best 40. My "editor" then, of whom I have greatest that's-a-good-one/that's-not-a-good-one respect for (Mrs Ice), and I came up with the best 24. And "Pack" was wrightdoug, the surrounding red didn't eat us alive for scantly rooting for UM. Then again, the wolves were winning most the day and at the hightail end. |
